Beyond the Fabrica

The work displayed in my final MA Art and Science Degree Show (2017) combined the strains of my pathology and surgical intervention research. This line of enquiry considered the body as a site of exploration for the medical practitioner and the relationship of the patient in understanding, healing, and coping through illness. My visceral approach was contrasted with the precise, linear nature of anatomical illustration by Dr. Billy Leung.
